Tulip and Doug: A Spud-tacular Friendship Story

It's a wonderful feeling to see my debut picture book - Tulip and Doug  - out in the world, as we here in New Zealand emerge from the Covid-19 Lockdown. 

It's the story of an unlikely and ill-fated friendship between an adventurous girl and her ever-present sidekick - a potato called Doug. 

I'm absolutely in love with Carla Martell's superb illustrations which do such a beautiful job of bringing the story to life. 

Tulip and Doug is available in bookstores across New Zealand and Australia, and through all the usual online channels.
