Bestselling author Emma Wood has always loved a good story! 

Her debut picture book Tulip and Doug: Friends for (Almost) Ever made global headlines when New Zealand's then-Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, gifted it to Prince William for his children. Its quirky and heart-warming sequel, Tulip and Sprout: A Growing Friendship,  hits the shelves in 2023.
 
As well as writing children's books, Emma  reviews the latest kidlit titles for the Otago Daily Times, and works as a freelance communications specialist.

She lives with her family in Dunedin, New Zealand, and enjoys the creative arts, splashing around at the beach and travelling.
